The TopLaxRecruits Mid-Atlantic Boys’ Rankings
1. Victor (NY) 15-0
The Blue Devils had no problem defeating Aquinas Institute and Rush-Henrietta last week. They finish the regular season tonight at home against Brighton.
2. McDonogh (MD) 17-1
The Eagles crushed Loyola Blakefield 20-6 in the MIAA “A” conference semifinals on Monday. They’ll play Boys’ Latin Friday night in the conference championship game at Homewood at 8 p.m
3. Bullis School (MD) 20-2
The Bulldogs defeated Georgetown Prep 9-3 in the DC IAC semifinals on Wednesday. They’ll play St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes Saturday in the DC IAC Championship.
4. Boys’ Latin (MD) 14-3
The Lakers defeated Severn 13-6 in the other MIAA “A” semifinal matchup at Homewood Field on Monday. They’ll play McDonogh Friday night in the title game. Boys’ Latin fell to McDonogh on the road 10-9 in double overtime back on May 3rd.
5. Gonzaga (DC) 19-2
The Purple Eagles wrapped up their season with a dominating 14-5 win over DeMatha in the WCAC Championship game. This is Gonzaga’s seventh straight WCAC Championship.
6. Locust Valley (NY) 15-0
The Falcons defeated Mineola last week in their regular season finale. They open up the Class C Section 8 playoffs against Oyster Bay on Wednesday.
7. Delbarton (NJ) 16-1
The Big Green scored a big road victory against Chaminade last Saturday, and also defeated Morristown Beard on Tuesday. They finish the regular season with games against Red Bank Catholic and Fairfield Prep.
8. St. Anthony’s (NY) 14-2
The Friars defeated New Canaan 8-3 and blitzed Chaminade, 18-5, for the second time in eight days, this time for their first NSCHSAA title in four seasons behind Thomas Heagerty’s five goals.
9. Bridgewater-Raritan (NJ) 15-0
The Panthers defeated Pingry 11-8 in their regular season finale before defeating Edison to open up the Group 4 playoffs as the top seed. They take on 8th seeded Watchung Hills Saturday.
10. Pittsford (NY) 14-1
The Panthers defeated Corning, St. Joseph Collegiate, and Canandaigua in action last week. They wrap up the regular season today on the road against Webster Thomas.
