The TopLaxRecruits Mid-Atlantic Boys’ Rankings
1. McDonogh (MD) 18-1
The Eagles finished the season with an 8-5 win over Boys’ Latin Friday to claim the MIAA “A” conference championship.
2. Bullis School (MD) 21-2
The Bulldogs defeated St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes Saturday, 9-5, in the DC IAC Championship game.
3. Victor (NY) 17-0
The Blue Devils finished the regular season with a big win over Brighton and followed that up with another big win over Hilton in the Class A Section 5 playoffs. Their next game is tomorrow against Webster Schroeder.
4. Gonzaga (DC) 19-2
The Purple Eagles wrapped up their season with a dominating 14-5 win over DeMatha in the WCAC Championship game. This is Gonzaga’s seventh straight WCAC Championship.
5. Boys’ Latin (MD) 14-4
The Lakers finished the season with an 8-5 loss to McDonogh in the MIAA “A” conference championship on Friday night.
6. Locust Valley (NY) 16-0
The Falcons opened up the Class C Section 8 playoffs with a 19-2 win over Oyster Bay.
7. St. Anthony’s (NY) 14-2
The Friars won their first NSCHSAA title in four seasons by defeating Chaminade 18-5.
8. Bridgewater-Raritan (NJ) 17-0
The Panthers defeated Watchung Hills and Hunterdon Central to move on to the North Jersey, Group 4 championship game. They will host seventh-seeded Westfield on Saturday.
9. Cold Spring Harbor (NY) 14-1
The Seahawks opened up Class C Section 8 playoffs with a 16-2 rout of Seaford and will meet Locust Valley for the title on May 31.
10. Delbarton (NJ) 18-2
The Big Green took care of Red Bank Catholic, but fell to Connecticut’s Fairfield Prep, 7-6, in action last week before defeating Don Bosco 10-1 to open up the Non-Public A playoffs. They’ll take on St. Augustine in the semifinals on Saturday.
