What will you major in/study? Sports Management
Why did you choose Canisius? “I chose Canisius for many reasons. They have excellent academics and a wide variety of majors to choose from. The smaller roster size and style of play at Canisius suits me very well. I also like being close to home so my family and friends can visit and watch me play. The city of Buffalo is seeing tremendous growth right now and the opportunities it might afford me after college are endless. Coach (Randy) Mearns is a great guy and coach and I’m very excited that I will play for him.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “We lost a lot of seniors from last year that played well so we are a very young team. Our offense has played together since youth and works extremely well together. Our defense will be good once again as well. We have big goals this year after losing in sectional finals last year. It should be a great year.”
Thank You: “I’d like to thank my parents for all the support and love they have given me. My younger brother for always making me laugh and criticizing my play. My friends for always being there for me and always pushing me to do better. Also, a special thank you to my HS Coach, JJ Schembri. He has taught me not only how to be a better player but also a better man.
