Bethpage (N.Y.) 2017 defenseman/LSM Thomas Galgano has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Binghamton University.

Why did you choose the school? “Binghamton is a great school academically. I believe that you should choose a college that will help you for not only 4 years, but the rest of your life. Binghamton will put me in a great situation when I graduate. I fell in love with the campus when I first saw it. I’m very excited to be a Bearcat.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “We have a lot of players returning from last year. With age comes experience and we will use that to our advantage. Our team will use our loss to Lynbrook in the semi-finals last year as motivation to win championships. Bethpage enters the season seeded 3rd behind Lynbrook and Manhasset.”
Thank You: “My commitment would not have been possible if it wasn’t for my parents paying for my showcases and driving me to all my tournaments. It’s a great feeling knowing they will always have your back and support everything you do. I would never be playing lacrosse at such a high level if it wasn’t for my Coach Tom Luzzi. With his experience in lacrosse he noticed I had the tools to be a defenseman. In 6th grade he switched me from midfield to defense. He taught me everything I know and I could not thank him enough.”
