Why did you choose Bryant? “I chose Bryant because I was interested in majoring in Business and Bryant University’s undergraduate business and MBA program is highly ranked among the nation’s best Business programs. I also knew I wanted to be part of a competitive Division 1 lacrosse program and Bryant is exactly that.
“When I attended Bryant’s lacrosse camp, I immediately felt like I belonged there. The campus is beautiful and Coach Jill DePetris-Batcheller and Coach (Kelsey) McGovern made me feel very welcomed from the very first minute I stepped onto the campus. Coach Jill and Coach Kelsey are always looking to bring the team to the next level.
“At Bryant I will be able to continue playing the sport I love while focusing on my studies. I can’t wait to become a Bulldog!”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “I’m very proud to be part of the Northport Varsity Lacrosse Team. Last year, our team made it to the semi-finals. Going forward this year, even though we lost 5 very talented players who graduated, our team is always working hard to take our game to the next level. I’m very proud of our team. Coach Carol Rose is constantly teaching our team new skills and strategies to step up our game even more. I’m looking forward to a great lacrosse season and maybe a County or State Championship!”
Thank You: “I just want to thank my parents for driving me up and down the East coast and always supporting my decision to play lacrosse in college. I want to also thank my little brother, Daniel, for always cheering me on from the sidelines.
Thank you to my Northport Varsity Coach, Carol Rose for helping me through the whole recruiting process. I also wanted to thank Carol Rose, her husband Al Rose and my Yellow Jackets Coach, Alexis Curcio for teaching me the skills that I need to become a great lacrosse player. They are always there for me and motivate me and push me to the next level so that I can become a better player.
