What will you major in/study?
“I would like to major in Education and become a teacher or a guidance counselor. Also, I would be interested in having a minor in Psychology.”

Why did you choose the school? “Elon had been my dream school since I was a freshman, however they did not have a lacrosse team until my sophomore year. When I found out they were making one, I tried extremely hard in lacrosse so that I could try getting in. October of my sophomore year I went down to play at a clinic and loved everything about it. The location and size was perfect, I definitely was looking to go to school in the South with a couple thousand students, and Elon fit me perfectly. I fell in love with the campus, the facilities, and the buildings. Most importantly, the academics they offered were just what I was looking for and they have a huge education program. Lastly, the team was amazing, all of the girls were so welcoming and I could see myself being on the team with them!”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “I am so excited to get started with my last high school season, I can’t wait to see how the team will do and I know we will make it far and accomplish our goals. We lost a couple of our best players, however the team will continue to get stronger and I believe that we should go far into the State Tournament.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my club coach, Meredith Meyran; she pushed me very hard during the off season and helped me to become the player I am today. She gave me the confidence that I needed and made sure that I played up to my potential each and every practice/game. Secondly, I would like to thank my high school coach, Heather Lewsey. Coach Heather was a huge reason why I was so interested in lacrosse; she believed in me and helped me reach the goals I was trying so hard to reach. Also, I would like to thank my older sister, Brittany, who helped me the most. She always made sure that I went onto the field with confidence; Brittany was the biggest influence to me because I look up to her. She really made me believe that if I tried hard enough I would reach my goals and that’s exactly what I did. Lastly, I would like to thank my parents, they put a huge amount of time and money into my lacrosse career and I would have never been able to accomplish what I did without them.”

Other schools considered?
Connecticut College, Bryant University
