First-year Eclipse Lacrosse (CT) won three divisional titles today – 2015 Ivy, 2016 Big Ten and 2017 AE – in the FLG in 3d Summer Showcase at Cedar Lane in Aberdeen, Md.
Eclipse 2015 wins Ivy title at FLG in 3d
The three championship teams (2015, 2016, 2017) for Eclipse, based out of Fairfield County, were coached by former MLL All-Stars Mike Regan, John Glatzel, and Jamie Hanford.
Eclipse players that stood out for 2015 title team (which had 10 All-Stars) were: Cam Harris (Fairfield Prep, middie, 3 goals in all star game), Ted Dumbauld (New Canaan, FOGO), Justin Meichner (New Canaan, attack), Michael Kraus (New Canaan, attack), Ryan Seymour (Westminster, attack), and Lucas Jackson (Staples, defense).
Eclipse players that stood out for 2016 title team (which had six All-Stars) were: Peter Swindell (New Canaan, middie), Connor Waldron (Berkshire, attack), Will Simpson (Darien, defense), Kevin O’Leary (Westminster, defense) and Jack O’Connor (Fairfield Prep, goalie).
Eclipse players that stood out for 2017 title team (which had three All-Stars) were: Kevin Lindley (Darien, attack, had over 15 goals in tourney), Ryan O’Connell (New Canaan, middie), Kyle Salvatore (Taft, middie), James Crovatto (New Canaan, defense) and Drew Morris (goalie, New Canaan).
