Locust Valley (N.Y.) sophomore twin attackmen Mike and Joe Madsen have each made verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. John’s University.
Mike Madsen ledger:

HS team’s outlook for this season? “After graduating a very small class, we have many returning players from last year. Still, some aspects of our team are young, but experienced and skilled. Our three starting attackmen are sophomores, along with some frosh/soph middies and defensemen. Much of our defense has played varsity for many years and their experience is second to none. Our goalies are very strong and we also have a great advantage at the face off X. We now have five commits on our team and we are looking forward to a strong season.”

Having a very experienced defensive unit, three sophomore attackmen, and a solid midfield including a stud face-off man, I think we will have a successful year.”
