2/6/2023 – ROCHESTER, NY Jonathan Bucciarelli, a junior goaltender and honor roll student at Greece Olympia High School, is heading south to continue his education and lacrosse career at Jacksonville University. Jon, an AP student and 4x honor roll student, maintains a 4.0 GPA and plans on majoring in Business Analytics.
While participating in showcases Mainstage, Maverick Showtime, & The show, Bucciarelli was has played Varsity since a Freshman, named Usclublax Player to Watch, lead section 5 in single season saves in 2022, and plays club lacrosse for Sweetlax upstate.
Why did you choose Jacksoville?: I chose this school mainly because of the coaches and the culture. Coach Galloway is one of the best goalies of all time and getting to work with him is a dream come true.
Who do you wish to thank for helping you achieve this honor?: I would like to thank my parents for bringing me to all of my practices, tournaments, showcases ect. They have helped me so much to get to what’re I am today. I would like to thank my club coaches and especially my goalie coach, Coach Costanza.
