Finger Lakes Community College midfielder Austin Andryshak has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division II lacrosse at Ohio Valley University.

College Choice: Ohio Valley University
Club Team: FCA Northeast (summer of 2014)
Lacrosse Honors: 23 goals and 5 assists as freshman at Houghton College last year.
Academic Honors: Deans List 2/3 semesters (1 semester at Houghton College, 1 semester at FLCC)
What will you major in/study? Sports Management
Why did you choose OVU? “Coach (Greg) Zecca has the tools in place to create a very successful lacrosse team. It’s a Christian college and my faith is important to me, so the chance to go to a Christian college that is playing quality lacrosse was an exciting opportunity for me.”
Thank You: “First and foremost thank you to God for the gifts and the opportunities He has given me. Thank you to Houghton College for the one year I spent there. That situation helped me transform as a player and opened the opportunity to attend FLCC this fall and compete for an athletic scholarship.
“Thank you to Coach Stein for being a mentor to me and giving me a chance to play big time lacrosse. Thank you to Coach Josh Smith and Coach Zecca at OVU for being with me every step of the way and showing me that OVU was the right choice for me.
