1. Haverford School (PA) 0-0
The Fords finished 26-0 last year, good enough to be the top team in the nation. Even though they lost a talented senior class, they return Dox Aitken (Virginia) and Forry Smith (Johns Hopkins). Their season starts with games against MIAA opponents No. 4 St. Paul’s at Washington College (Saturday at 4 p.m.) and at home against Loyola-Blakefield (March 15).

2. Victor (N.Y.) 0-0
The Blue Devils had a perfect season in 2015, winning the state class B title with a junior-laden team. They may be even better this year. They start their season March 22 against Corning.

3. Gonzaga (DC) 1-0
The Purple Eagles took down IAC opponent Bullis 11-4 on Monday. Mike Stanton had four goals, while Avery Myers scored a hat-trick. They take on No. 9 McDonogh today, followed by St. Alban’s on Saturday at the DC Lacrosse Classic.

4. St. Paul’s (MD) 0-0
The Crusaders should again contend for an MIAA “A” Conference title. They start their season at Washington College against No. 1 Haverford School, followed by hosting Hill Academy next Wednesday.

5. Hun School (N.J.) 0-0
The Raiders lost only to No. 1 Haverford School last year and will again be a force. They start their season March 22 against Georgetown Prep.

6. Calvert Hall (MD) 1-0
The Cardinals got their season off to a good start on Tuesday with a 14-2 win over Sts. Peter & Paul. Calvert Hall travels to North Carolina for three straight games against North Carolina schools Lake Norman, Ravenscroft School, and Texas’s St. John’s over the weekend, before returning home to host Hill Academy next Thursday.

7. Chaminade (N.Y.) 0-0
The Flyers look to defend their CHSAA championship. They get their season started March 26 against West Islip.

8. Smithtown East (N.Y.) 0-0
The Bulls reached the Long Island Class A championship last year and have the talent to go further. Their season begins March 26 as they travel to take on Massapequa.

9. McDonogh School (MD) 0-0
The Eagles reached the MIAA “A” final last year and return as a co-favorite. They begin their season tomorrow with a big opener on the road against #3 Gonzaga, followed by games against Collegiate School, and a trip to Florida to take on Lake Highland Prep and Saint Andrew’s.

10. Cold Spring Harbor (NY) 0-0
The defending Class C state champion Seahawks open March 22 vs. South Side. CSH opens the year with an 18-game win streak.
