The Brine Pride of Long Island Showcase is set for Sunday, May 3 at North Shore High School. Forty players currently in grades 10-11 have qualified for selection and will showcase their lacrosse skills in a series of games. Twent players will be selected to represent Long Island NY and advance to the 2015 Brine National Lacrosse Classic in Virginia, June 29-July 2.
“The Brine Pride Lacrosse Series has been created for the local lacrosse communities in select regions around the country”, said Joel Franklin, Portfolio Manager at LEGACY Global Sports. “The Pride games provide players with an opportunity to showcase their skills against other players with similar skill sets while competing for roster spots to represent their region, hometown, school, club team and state on a national level at the Brine National Lacrosse Classic.”
Now entering its 8th year, the Brine National Lacrosse Classic features the top 400 rising 10th and 11th grade high school girls in the nation. Players earn selection by competing at Brine regional tryouts and Pride Lacrosse Series.
